We will understand your skin and/or hair needs by taking a complete history and evaluation of your overall health which affects the condition of your skin and hair. This assessment will include discussing medical history, diet, skin and/or hair regimen and treatments, and medications including supplements and over the counter treatments.
Lab testing may be recommended to understand the underlying cause of your skin and/or hair condition. Lab test may include Food intolerance testing - a look at foods that may trigger inflammation which can present on the skin as breakouts, Hormone testing - to look for imbalances in hormones which may attribute to conditions such as cystic acne and collagen reduction, and/or hair loss, Stool testing - to assess digestive function. Gastrointestinal imbalances can disrupt the digestion and absorption of nutrients required for skin and hair health.

Healthy Skin & Hair Follow-up visits are planned 4 to 8 weeks post implementing your plan to assess your treatment and the progress of your skin and/or hair, order and review follow-up labs, and continue or adjust your plan.
Vampire Facial® uses Microneedling as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). A hand-held tool with tiny needles is used to create micro-punctures in your skin. Then isolated growth factors from your blood is painted onto the micro-punctures so that the growth factors are microneedled into the tissue for stimulation and skin rejuvenation. Your body treats this micro-injury by sending fibroblasts to create more collagen in the affected area. The procedure is to naturally stimulate the production of collagen with minimal epidermal damage or trauma. The results are rejuvenated, firmer, skin.
What the Vampire Facial® Treats
• Sun Damage
• Acne Scars
• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Stretch marks on the body
• Pore size

The Vampire Facelift® combines Hyaluronic Acid Filler (HA) with your own rejuvenating blood growth factors activating growth of new tissue and creating an instantaneous lift with the HA.
What the Vampire Facelift® Treats
The Vampire FaceLift® procedure uses a Hyaluronic Acid (HA) filler (like Restylane or Juvederm) in a very specific way to sculpt a younger appearing face–while still keeping the shape natural. Providers of the Vampire Facelift® procedure take into account the mathematics of beauty as defined by much research to avoid at all costs of creating an unnatural shape. These ideas about the HA fillers are part of the intellectual property protected by the trademarked name (Vampire Facelift®). After creating a natural shape, then the provider harvests your own blood (hence the name Vampire).

Yen Health & Wellness offers neurotoxin injections which are non-surgical medications that temporarily blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle can no longer contract, which causes wrinkles to relax and soften.
Neurotoxins are treatments that can be performed in a number of locations, including between your brows, outside corner of the eyes (crow’s feet), and forehead lines. It can also be used to treat excessive sweating of the hands or underarms, migraines, and “gummy smiles”.
Treatment consists of a number of tiny injections made through a very fine needle directly into specific muscles just under the skin.
The process of neurotoxin injections requires almost no time for recovery. Normal activities may be resumed immediately, but strenuous exercise should be avoided for the first 12-24 hours. Massaging of the treated area is not recommended as it may result in dispersing of the medication. There may be minor pain and swelling, almost like tiny bee stings, at the injection sites. These injection sites will resolve. There is also a possibility of bruising, which can take 7-14 days to resolve.
Effects of the injections begin to appear within 4-7 days but the full effect may take up to 2 weeks. The results generally last around two to four months, after which time, the injections must be repeated. The reason repeated treatments are recommended is because muscle action eventually returns.
Overall, neurotoxins are safe and effective but is not for everyone. Our medical professional will discuss if neurotoxins are right for you.
These treatments address hair concerns, for all hair types and textures.
Yen Health & Wellness addresses hair loss at the root cause. We provide a comprehensive assessment that may include diagnostic and functional laboratory tests to determine the cause of your hair loss. We then design an individualized plan for you.
What types of conditions respond to Regenerative Hair Restoration treatment?
• Male Pattern Hair Loss – especially in the early stages of balding, or anytime there is a lot of miniaturized hair on the scalp
• Female Pattern Hair Loss – at all stages of hair loss
• Alopecia Areata
• Traction Alopecia
• Metabolic causes of hair loss – mineral and vitamin deficiency including iron deficiency and medication induced hair thinning
Yen Health & Wellness provides procedure therapies such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections and other biologics to cause miniaturized hair follicles to enlarge; stimulating the hair regrowth process. The injection type and schedule will depend on the root cause, pattern and amount of hair loss, age and hormones.
Bruising and redness can occur but usually resolves within a week or two. New hair growth can be seen as early as two months, but is typically evident between four to eight months and will continue to improve up to a year after treatment. Maintenance treatments, at least on an annual basis may be required particularly if the underlying cause is not eliminated. Because PRP uses your own platelets, there is little to no risk of a negative reaction.
Most patients see decreased hair shedding, followed by regrowth and increased length of hair loss and thinning.
