Yashica Harris is a nurse practitioner with an intense desire to provide tailored, individualized, health care solutions, education, and treatments to her patients based on identifying and resolving root causes of diseases and symptoms. She dedicates her practice to optimizing health and vitality in women and men who may experience symptoms of immune system disorders like chronic fatigue; diseases such as diabetes, gastro-intestinal conditions, heart disease; and hormonal conditions such as thyroid disease, infertility, menstrual imbalances, and symptoms of menopause and andropause.
Yashica graduated top of her class in her Adult Nurse Practitioner Master of Science program and received the Clinical Excellence Award from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes Jewish College of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri. She has over a decade of nursing experience, with positions in cardio-thoracic intensive care with Barnes-Jewish Hospital and as a Hospitalist in Internal Medicine with Washington University School of Medicine. She has held adjunct and affiliate professor positions with Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College and adjunct positions with the University of Missouri St. Louis. She is currently pursuing a fellowship and board certification in Functional, Metabolic, and Nutritional Medicine from George Washington University School of Medicine and The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4m). She received extensive training and certification in the Science of Skin Rejuvenation, Microneedling, Platelet Rich Plasma, Dermal Fillers, and Neuromodulators. Yashica utilizes her aesthetic modalities to compliment her functional wellness approach to achieve optimal results.
When she is not in clinic, you can find her engaging and educating other health care providers. She loves exercise and fitness. She loves traveling to some place warm with a beach.
